Palmetto Bluff Lowcountry Celebration
To me, the Carolina Lowcountry is one of the most special places on Earth. And Palmetto Bluff, all 20,000 acres of it, is the best of the best. A virtual island defined by three historic rivers, the May, the Cooper and the New Rivers, 'The Bluff' is a truly pristine oasis, and a place that makes me feel at home unlike anywhere I've ever been. This part of the country is very much steeped in history, culture and tradition and in my mind, the culinary traditions of the Lowcountry are amongst the most important to be found anywhere. For this reason, I am very excited to be heading back to Palmetto Bluff this November for what I hope will become an annual pilgrimage for anyone and everyone who shares my love of this part of the country and most importantly, its flavors!
Along with my friends at Palmetto Bluff and Coastal Living Magazine, I am very proud to invite you all to my Palmetto Bluff Lowcountry Celebration, to take place November 16-18 at Palmetto Bluff. We have an amazing weekend of food , wine, music and fun planned and a variety of ways in which you can enjoy the festivities. Whether it's a full weekend getaway at the Inn at Palmetto Bluff or enjoying the Saturday afternoon party on the Village Green where I will be doing a cooking demonstration, there is going to be something for everyone.
Please take a look at www.musictoyourmouth2007.com to find out all about the event and I look forward to sharing this special place with you all!

3. Hey Tyler,
I was hoping to run into you again at the Gym because when I saw you there I was dying to ask you this question but did not want to invade your workout.
I am creating a cooking/lifestyle show but do not know production resources, or how to get it to market.
Any pointers?
I would be sooooooooo grateful for your advice.
Best,
Carol

5. What a beautiful place! Wish we could go, but having 2 very young rugrats, it is difficult for us to go anywhere outide of 10 mile radius.
Oh, speaking of kids, my DVR is jammed full. Only 3 shows exist on that thing.

Martin Yan's Chinatown
my kids started erasing Martin Yan reocrdings because it was invading their highly educational television programming recording space (kids can never have too many politically/culturally/violently insensitive cartoons).
They've told me that your show is next on the chopping block.

7. Hi Tyler,
While you are in SC this fall, if you get a chance check out a new restaurant located in Downtown Greenville. It is called American Grocery Restaurant. You can check it out at http://www.americangr.com/index-5.html. A friend of ours from California opened it in late July with as many local ingredients as possible on the menu. The food and the atmosphere make for a splendid evening. Hope you get a chance to visit!
Best, Ellie
PS Do you know yet when you will be back in SC this fall? I know Anthony mentioned October.

10. Hi Tyler,
First let me say congratulations to you on your marriage and newest little son and to Miles on having the opportunity to be a fantastic big brother! Tyler, you came to my home with Food 911 and we prepared the most amazing Lobster Bisque. Thank you, it will always be one of my best and most memorable days ever! During our day, for lunch you prepared a very tasty CRAB SALAD. I have been trying to duplicate that salad and have not had success. Could you please share that recipe? Thank you and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

We really look forward to your coming back to Palmetto Bluff November 16-18! And, if you and your fans and readers can swing it, come a little early, Nov. 1-4 for the 6th annual Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival, just over the bridge to Hilton Head, about 20 minutes from Palmetto Bluff and Bluffton, S.C.

12. To Ellie: The St. Francis Fall for Greenville festival kicks off next month,
and it will feature 34 bands, 42 local restaurants, and an appearance
by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, organizers announced today.
The 26th annual festival, subtitled A Taste of Our Town, will be Oct.
12-14 in downtown Greenville, in a 6-million-square-foot area along
Main Street, said Byron Rucker, executive director of Main Street
Events, which produces the festival.

Tyler, someone needs to update your webpage. No appearances listed since last May! Time flies!

1. Does anyone know if Tyler is related to Don and Eleanor Hess Florence who used to own Limestone Plantation in Albemarle County, Virginia? I have pictures and they sure do look alike!!
